If an item is stolen, should the seller first work with the store or file a claim with ViCoverage?

Both actions should be taken. The seller should notify the store of the theft and also initiate a claim by going to the ViCoverage Customer Portal to login and initiate your claim within 15 days of learning the item was stolen. The policy requires direct notice to ViCoverage in all cases.
