The coverage you purchase is designed to provide coverage exclusively for the specific sport or activity during its designated season, as well as for injuries and any other covered perils related to that sport. Because we always aren't provided the exact start and end dates of a season, the policy/certificate can default to 365 days from purchase even though it only covers the specific sport or season. Should you require coverage for a subsequent season or a different sport, you will need to purchase a new policy/certificate for each individual sport and season.
