Why does my cancellation coverage refer to travel?

This coverage is based on a travel product.

While the policy/certificate covers participant cancellation for a sports program, event, concert or reservation, the coverage terms do include travel nomenclature. Any reference to the "trip" or "travel" should be applied to the event or activity you signed up for and any reference to the "traveler" should apply to the participant or ticket holder.
