Why does my cancellation insurance policy refer to travel?

This insurance is based on a travel insurance product.

While the policy covers participant cancellation for a sports program, event, concert or reservation, the policy terms do include travel nomenclature. Any reference to the "trip" or "travel" should be applied to the event or activity you signed up for and any reference to the "traveler" should apply to the participant or ticket holder.
